My Favorite Things...

2011 has barely begun and yet I have already been blown away by some of the great things available for our homes.  At this rate My Favorite Things may become a monthly article!!

Keeping the list short has been difficult so please enjoy some of my favorite things, so far...

Tart Apple by Behr (Premium Plus) - I love, love, love this paint colour!  I think it's quite near the perfect colour for a kitchen or contemporary room and I plan to use it when staging properties.  Small doses only though, just to provide the right amount of pop!

I love the idea of relaxing.  Note I said the "idea".  Relaxation time is hard to find for all of us.  Surrounding myself with calming, soothing items and colours gives me a feeling of serenity within all that chaos.  Ths is my current fave:

I am of the belief that you can never be too comfortable!!  Comfort is good.  Comfort to me comes from my latest love...the throw cushion.  Can you really have enough throw cushions?  The male units in my home would say, "Hell ya!  Enough of the throw cushions!!"  I say, "Pshaw!" and promptly stick my tongue out while making/ordering/scouting for new throw cushions.
